For Wild Horse Brewery, 2024

Digital artwork for limited edition craft beer, ‘Rhiannon’, for International Women’s Day 2024 commissioned by Welsh micro- brewery, Wild Horse Brewery.

I was commissioned by the brilliant Welsh brewery Wild Horse to create a bespoke illustration for their limited edition craft beer, Rhiannon, released to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024.

Inspired by my namesake—a powerful and mysterious figure from Welsh mythology—the design is also a tribute to global sisterhood and solidarity. The artwork began as a papercut chain of interlinked female figures, which I then developed into a layered digital illustration combining folkloric motifs with hops and grains to reflect both myth and the brewing process.

It was an absolute joy to collaborate with Emma Faragher, Wild Horse’s inspiring female founder, and so much fun to create a bold, contemporary take on a classic Celtic legend. Iechyd Da/ Cheers!
